WHO YOU ARE 

Previous experience in qualitative insight and analysis for a reputed firm (Preferably 6+ years) 

Comfortable ‘on your feet’ with strong facilitation skills, able to manage oneself & others in complex group sessions 

Professional working style that inspires confidence, adept at leading client conversations 

Proactive, entrepreneurial, resourceful and tech savvy 

Solid understanding of marketing and branding strategies 

Wide and deep knowledge of consumers and how to interpret consumer insights to develop innovative approaches to problems 

Thirst for knowledge regarding people, culture, brands, and business 

Thrive on solving big problems, curious to explore the unknown, open to new approaches to data collection and target engagement 

Positive attitude and able to inspire positivity in others. 

Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively, verbally and in writing, in Mandarin and English 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Independent end to end project management with key client responsibilities (our projects range from 3-4 weeks to 3-4 months) 

2. Overseeing & moderating qualitative fieldwork such as discussion groups, ethnographic immersions and target engagements across city – tiers; sense make a wide stream of data to uncover insights, JTBDs and opportunity spaces 

3. Grow existing business relationships and acquire new clients with support from Partner 

4. Organise & lead client meetings, and translate these into compelling proposals that will be overseen by Partner 

5. Conduct & support secondary research needs across projects, and turn these into actionable and compelling presentations 

6. Exercise cutting edge thinking when writing debriefs and contributing to final outputs across several media (PowerPoint, Workshop Decks etc.) 

7. Co-lead workshops that resolve challenges around brand, business, service, product and planet related challenges 

8. Willingness to be to be trained in aspects of qualitative techniques, innovation funnels and value proposition frameworks 

9. Mentoring the development of associates, and play a pivotal role in shaping a happy and motivated team 

EDUCATION BACKGROUND 

Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as: 

• Sociology/Social Anthropology/Human Geography 

• Semiotics/Linguistics 

• Philosophy 

• English Literature/Creative writing 

• History 

• Strategic Design 

• Design Management 

• Business with strong interest in above fields
